THE PLAICE TO EAT

We are a local family run business. Since taking over the van in 2011 our passion for providing the small villages surrounding us with a great food service has not changed.

Fish & Chips are one of the Nation's favourite dishes and we're proud to put in the hard work and dedication to make sure each portion is as irresistibly tasty as the last, using only the highest quality products.

 

Here at The Plaice to Eat we think it tastes better when you’re eating fresh food that doesn’t cost the earth, so whilst you wait that’s exactly what we cook.

We are a mobile fish and chip van, located in the Bedfordshire area, we live in Tingrith and have a local round visiting Silsoe on Wednesdays and Harlington on Thursdays.

 

Although we don't work a regular round the rest of the week or the weekend we have done this so we can cater for events and weddings. So if you have anything coming up that you would love traditional fish and chips at, please check out our function page where you will find more information.
